Little Liam, Newborn 14 days

Little Liam came to this world a little later than expected! He was still the best gift mom and dad could have hoped for.. Our session here at the studio is different for every newborn as we have to be completely sensitive to their needs at every moment. Liam had such a wonderful and calm demeanor. He was awake, alert and happy for some cute photos with that awesome knitted hat and then fell into a peaceful slumber for some serene sleeping baby photos. Mom came to the studio before their session to check out the space, get comfortable with the atmosphere and to meet me. I absolutely recommend coming in before your session so we can really solidify your ideas. In Liam's case, we were able to get to all of the poses that mom and dad desired! It was a truly lovely portrait session.

Only 13 days!

Hello World!
Little miss Jacqueline introduced herself to the world a few days before Christmas and what a gift she was! Mom and Dad came to the studio just 13 days after she was born to capture her absolute littleness and innocent expressions. I was blown away by the fact that she could lift her head all by herself already!  She got nice and cozy with the heater near her feet and blankets all around her. Enjoy this very new newborn!

More Product Shots

As you know, my website features many of the beautiful people that I photograph. There are many other aspects to my business including product photography. Back in the early 2000's I photographed products for Linens N' Things (before they went out of business) and loved it! We worked every day on towels, frames, pots, pans, and even mirrors. I love the challenge of photographing objects and making them look great for you. You can see the food photography in the windows of the Good Life Grocery in Bernal Heights!
Enjoy!

A beautiful new family!

Kristy and Josh came to the studio when she was expecting their little boy. We had such a wonderful maternity shoot. When Tyson was born, they made the 7 hour trip from the border of CA/Oregon to come and see me again. Tyson, at 2 months, was such a sweet heart and very hungry! We stayed in the studio for some intimate portraits with mom and dad then head outside to a nearby park for some fun and color. Although, Tyson couldn't keep his eyes open for the park, he was tired after all of his modeling!

A Sweet Anniversary Party at Gundlach Bundschu, Napa

Jon and Kim tied the night 20 years before. They now have three beautiful children and a family of love and support. They wanted a big celebration (and Kim is a fantastic event planner!) for all of their family and friends to enjoy. They chose Gundlach Bundschu because of the amazing views and great location. The food was fantastic and  provided by Girl and the Fig and yes, even Hog Island oysters! The band totally rocked with fun covers. Most of all, they had a great time with family and friends to celebrate their anniversary of 20 great years together! Check out the centerpieces made with love by all of Kim's nieces and daughters..

An Amazing San Francisco Wedding!

Natasha and Tom came all the way from New York to celebrate their wedding here in San Francisco. So, we better do some fun and fantastic arty San Francisco photos, right?!
Natasha got ready in a cute little room at the City Club in downtown San Francisco. Tom waited patiently (while checking his Iphone!) in the lobby for her arrival. She came out of the elevator and looked amazing! Her super sassy purple high heels and all! Tom and Natasha both had deep purple callas designed by FloraMor that looked stunning. We stopped at graffiti spots, City Hall, Alamo Square and lastly... their deluxe suite at the Mandarin Hotel! Check out the photos from their deck where it looks like Tom can lean against the Transamerica building! They had such a gas touring the city and jumping out for spontaneous couple photos! I absolutely enjoyed using creative lighting to take their photos to a more dramatic level. The city club is a fantastic venue for a wedding as they transform two levels for the ceremony, dinner and then dancing. Check out the photos of the dance floor and cake! I am so happy that Natasha and Tom choose me to be their wedding photographer and portrait artist! Be sure to click through these fabulous photos..

Brother and Sister, Fun Portraits in the Studio and at the Park!

These two siblings could not get enough of each other! They loved chasing, pulling, tickling, poking and even hugging each other! I had such a blast in the studio while they tried to sit on the same chair at the same time. Can you believe these smiles?! Then as we went to do some park portraits, little sis pulled out her fabulous tutu! Orange and big! She ran and ran as big brother chased her through the park with big smiles.. Mom is having a hard time choosing her favorites because they are all so special. I can't even imagine how wonderful it is to have these special fun moments captured forever.
Enjoy!

Emerson, newborn photography at it's littlest and finest!

Check out some of these natural light newborn photographs! Emerson came in at 2 weeks and was poised perfectly for his photo session here in the studio. We loved his contemplative looks. Mom and dad worked calmly and carefully to soothe him to sleep for some very serene and softly sleepy photos. We explored some black and white newborn photographs as well as soft natural light portraits in color. Mom and dad like the pose with his hand under his chin!
Love that.
Enjoy!

Twins= Double Cuteness!

What would I rather be doing than twin babies photography on a Sunday morning? NOTHING! I loved meeting Charlotte and George at their home in Pacific Heights. As soon as I walked in the door, they were cooing from upstairs. Mom and dad were perfectly calm and content with their new bundles of joy.  George slept, Charlotte smiled, George cried, Charlotte slept. It was the best of all worlds. Mom and dad had a great sitting room with a beautiful couch where Charlotte and George lay quietly while we photographed.
What a successful photo shoot with two beautiful twins!
